Science is a Gas!

Today's science lesson involved trapping a gas. It's a lot easier then it sounds. (and no, no farts were involved)

Here is what we started with...

a plastic baggy, a rubber band, a plastic cup, some baking soda and some vinegar.

It's a solid!

Look! It's a liquid!

It started bubbling, and look what happened!

The baggy filled up with gas! A solid and a liquid, made a gas!
The boys liked this, because of all the bubbles it made, and how it filled the baggy up with "air" (which was later explained to be gas)
